    The Sound of Silence

“THE OPPOSITE OF LOVE ISN’T HATE, IT’S INDIFFERENCE.“ Let me preface this piece by stating that I am sure Trump supporters are as scared of Vice President Biden as I am for their choice. I read some of the quotes from Elie Wiesel, a man who wrote 57 books, won the Nobel prize, was a prisoner in Auschwitz and Buchenwald during the Holocaust – you know, that event in history that never happened. I have read about him over the years and decided to look him up on Wikipedia and read some of his quotes. I was stunned. There are too many to get through, so I selected some…

Could This Be A Spiritual Awakening?

I have had several of those lately. Have you? I lost count on how many times I started to write a blog. One was Pot Pourri – again.  That didn’t work. Then I named one “Creativity in this Chaos.” Nah! Today that all changed, and I found something that touched me in an unexpected way. It’s possible that I’ll include some comments on how people have been creative – who knows once I start writing. The challenge is, as I have mentioned more than once, I don’t have the normal writer’s block.  I have too many subjects that catch my writing spirit. Certainly, there is enough going on to write…

Life’s Realities and What We Can Do About Them

Isn’t it strange how things just show up and bring a smile, laughter, or a message? Just recently I decided to clear my desk. I haven’t quite completed it yet as I have a habit of taking one pile of papers and making another pile. Crazy and lazy. One time I moved the keyboard and found some Angel Cards that must have fallen out of the box. In case you don’t know about them, they have a word or two and a picture of a little angel. There were seven and contained the following topics: TRANSFORMATION HEALING HUMOUR FAITH RELAXATION DISCERNMENT PRESENCE I had no idea they were there. However,…

Ch Ch Changes (Thanks to David Bowie)

I was planning to write this about two hours ago, but my cat Daisy was sitting on my computer chair and we all know about that!  So here I am. WARNING: I am wearing a tee shirt that reads, “THE DEVIL WHISPERED IN MY EAR, YOU’RE NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO WITHSTAND THE STORM” Below that is a black cat followed by “TODAY I WHISPERED IN THE DEVIL’S EAR, I AM THE STORM”  Just sayin! How are you doing? I thought I’d write about the changes in my household since this disaster began. Maybe you can relate or possibly it might help. First of all, because of the nature of this…

    Thank You Very, Very Much

Since this virus crisis has emerged due to incompetency, I have become aware of people who still maintain their work for the betterment of we, the  people. We live in a nation of complainers and (law) suers (or perhaps sewers would be a better term). There is a woman in the local Quest lab work company whose name is Sylvia. She is extraordinary. I have never felt a needle ever with her in charge. When the email came asking me for my opinion about my visit with Quest, I always responded very positively about Sylvia. This went on for some time as I frequently have to have blood work. After…
